~~NOTOC~~ ====== Extras ====== Extras are nameless thugs whom characters run into from time to time, not key Storyteller characters. They’re diversions who are usually controlled by the more important enemies whom your characters are really after. These extras are a plot device, and shouldn’t interfere with the main story. After taking a few lumps, extras retreat, surrender, or fall over so the real action can get underway. ===== Hit-or-Miss ===== The Storyteller rolls a single die for each extra's attack. As a result, it's relatively easy for a character to [[combat systems#defensive maneuvers|dodge, parry or otherwise avoid]] an extra's attack. ===== Lightweights ===== "Extra” Storyteller characters have only four [[damage|health levels]]: Hurt -1, Mauled -2, Incapacitated, and Dead ===== Take That! ===== If a player score three or more successes on an attack roll against one of these thugs, the target is immediately struck down in spectacular fashion!
