Virtual Feats

Virtual feats are class features that bear the same name and grant the same abilities as a listed feat. For instance, the Soldier advanced class gets Weapon Focus and Weapon Specialization as class features as the character progresses. For the purpose of fulfilling prerequisites of other feats, virtual feats count as having the feat. If you are unsure as to whether a certain talent or class feature qualifies as a virtual feat, ask your GM.

Feat Types

Feats are divided into categories.

Combat Feats

Item Creation Feats, means that craftspeople can use them to create gear, vehicles, and other items. Item Creation feats always take time and money to use. The rules governing them are under the particular Craft skills appropriate to the item being created.

Mecha Feats refer to mecha which may or may not be relevant to the game you're running.

Mutation feats can be taken by any character who meets their prerequisites (if any). The character need not be a human or a mutant to take these feats, but once a character has one or more Mutation feats, she adds the Mutant subtype to her type. For instance, a mutated Weren would be of the type: Monstrous Humanoid (Mutant), and a mutated human is a Humanoid (Human, Mutant). Creatures and characters with multiple subtypes are subject to any abilities or effects that apply to any of their subtypes.

Psionic Feats refer to mental powers.

Robot feats are feats that are available only to robots. Generally, these feats enhance or arise from one or more of the specific traits that differentiate a robot from organic life forms.
