**Storyteller House Rules**</WRAP>

[[Austrin-Ontis Unlimited|Austrin]] characters may choose one of the following feats for free at 1st level:  [[Advanced Firearms Proficiency (Feat)|Advanced Firearms Proficiency]], [[Exotic Firearms Proficiency (Feat)|Exotic Firearm Proficiency]], [[Far Shot (Feat)|Far Shot]], [[Personal Firearms Proficiency (Feat)|Personal Firearms Proficiency]], [[Quick Reload (Feat)|Quick Reload]] or  [[Weapon Focus (Feat)|Weapon Focus]]. The hero must meet all of the prerequisites for the chosen feat.

[[Borealis Republic|Borealin]] characters may chose from one of the following feats for free at 1st level:  [[Educated (Feat)|Educated]], [[Perfect Genome (Feat)|Perfect Genome]], [[Smart Plus (Feat)|Smart Plus]], [[Skill Aptitude (Feat)|Skill Aptitude,]] [[Skill Emphasis (Feat)|Skill Emphasis,]] or [[Studious (Feat)|Studious]].  The character must meet all of the prerequisites for the chosen feat.

[[Hatire Community|Hatire]] characters may choose from one of the following feats for free at 1st level: [[Dedicated Plus (Feat)|Dedicated Plus]], [[Mental Buffer (Feat)|Mental Buffer]], [[Mental Fortitude (Feat)|Mental Fortitude]], [[Mental Warding (Feat)|Mental Warding]] or [[Oathbound (Feat)|Oathbound]].  The character must meet all of the prerequisites for the chosen feat.

[[Insight|Inseer]] characters gain a +2 cultural bonus to all computer-related checks.  This bonus also applies to all grid avatar-related stats.

[[Nariac Domain|Nariac]] characters begin play with any one free item of [[Cyberware|cyberware]] with a purchase DC of 30 or less - with a free implanted security monitor that reports their movements to the Domain. These implants do not count against the characters' [[Cybernetic Attachments|normal cyberware limitations]].

[[Orion League|Orion]] characters gain a +1 cultural bonus to [[Bluff (Skill)|Bluff]], [[Diplomacy (Skill)|Diplomacy]], [[Gather Information (Skill)|Gather Information]], and [[Perform (Skill)|Perform (any)]] checks.  Remeber that the [[Perform (Music) (Skill)|Perform (Music)]] skill can't be used untrained.

[[Orlamu Theocracy|Orlamu]] characters may choose one of the following benefits for free at 1st level:  +2 cultural bonus on any [[Knowledge (Physical Science) (Skill)|Knowledge (Physical Science)]] and [[Navigation (Skill)|Navigation]] checks, [[Psionic Ability (Feat)|Psionic Ability]], [[Wild Talent (Feat)|Wild Talent]] ([[Mental Contact (Talent)|Mental Contact]]), Wild Talent ([[Psionic Sense (Talent)|Psionic Sense]]), Wild Talent ([[Suggestion (Talent)|Suggestion]]), or Wild Talent ([[Sense Minds (Talent)|Sense Minds]]).  The character must meet all of the prerequisites for the chosen feat.

[[Rigunmor Star Consortium|Rigunmor]] characters may choose one of the following benefits for free at first level:  +3 competence bonus on any [[Diplomacy (Skill)|Diplomacy]] checks to buy or sell goods and +1 cultural bonus on any [[Knowledge (Economics) (Skill)|Knowledge (Economics)]]  checks, 4 additional skill points at 1st level, or the [[Windfall (Feat)|Windfall]] feat.  The character must meet all of the prerequisites for the chosen feat.

[[StarMech Collective|Starmech]] characters gain a +1 cultural bonus to all [[Craft (Mechanical) (Skill)|Craft (Mechanical)]], [[Craft (Electronic) (Skill)|Craft (Electronic)]], [[Craft (Structural) (Skill)|Craft (Structural)]], [[Knowledge (Construction) (Skill)|Knowledge (Construction)]], [[Knowledge (Technology) (Skill)|Knowledge (Technology)]], and [[Repair (Skill)|Repair]] checks.  Remember that the skills [[Craft (Mechanical) (Skill)|Craft (Mechanical)]], [[Craft (Electronic) (Skill)|Craft (Electronic)]] and [[Repair (Skill)|Repair]] still can't be used untrained.

[[Thuldan Empire|Thuldan]] characters may choose from one of the following feats for free at 1st level:  [[Endurance (Feat)|Endurance,]] [[Run (Feat)|Run,]]  [[Malleable Genetics (Feat)|Malleable Genetics,]] [[Military Scientist (Feat)|Military Scientist]],  [[Strong Plus (Feat)|Strong Plus,]] or [[Tough Plus (Feat)|Tough Plus.]]  The character must meet all of the prerequisites for the chosen feat.

[[Union of Sol|Solar]] characters may choose any one additional [[Feats|feat]] at 1st level.  The character must meet all of the prerequisites for the chosen feat.

[[VoidCorp]] characters gain a +2 cultural bonus to all [[Knowledge (Economics) (Skill)|Knowledge (Economics)]] skill checks.  In addition, the character can re-roll any failed ability check, skill check, attack roll, or saving throw.  (In other words, any task resolution die roll, which are die rolls using a d20).  The second result must be used regardless whether it is better or worse than the first.  This ability may be used twice per day.  This ability may be used no more than once an encounter.

[[Galactic Concord|Concordan]] characters may choose from one of the following feats for free at 1st level:  [[acrobatic feat|Acrobatic]], [[alertness feat|Alertness]], [[attentive feat|Attentive]], [[cautious feat|Cautious]], [[charismatic plus feat|Charismatic Plus]], [[confident feat|Confident]], [[deceptive feat|Deceptive]], [[dedicated plus feat|Dedicated Plus]], [[educated feat|Educated]], [[fast plus feat|Fast Plus]], [[focused feat|Focused]], [[great_fortitude_feat|Great Fortitude]], [[improved initiative feat|Improved Initiative]], [[iron_will_feat|Iron Will]], [[lightning_reflexes_feat|Lightning Reflexes]], [[low profile feat|Low Profile]], [[meticulous feat|Meticulous]], [[nimble feat|Nimble]], [[skill aptitude feat|Skill Aptitude]], [[skill emphasis feat|Skill Emphasis]], [[smart plus feat|Smart Plus]], [[strong plus feat|Strong Plus]], [[studious feat|Studious]], [[stealthy feat|Stealthy]], [[tough plus feat|Tough Plus]], or [[trustworthy feat|Trustworthy]].
