====== Human (Species) ======

Humans are the most numerous and most widespread of the known races. All of the existing [[the stellar nations|stellar nations]] and [[The Verge|Verge]] colonies are human-dominated and have their origins in human cultures and history.
More than a dozen sentient alien species have been discovered to date, and of these five have taken to space-faring in significant numbers. And yet collectively, nonhuman sentient species equal only about one-fortieth the humans living in the Stellar Ring. For the most part, this human dominance does not cause significant problems for non-humans, but inter-species tension and even discrimination do exist in places.
Their varied nature and adaptability also allow humans to receive Cultural bonuses and abilities as described in [[Cultures]], whereas alien species already have their cultural bonuses figured into their racial descriptions below.
