Charge weapons replace gunpowder and other chemical explosives with electrochemi-al propellant, ignited with a short but massive shock to the cartridge. The propellant converts to white-hot plasma with a smoother, more powerful expansion than gunpowder, resulting in a much higher muzzle veloci-ty. The recoil is slightly greater than with gun-powder, though not enough to significantly affect the user’s aim. Proficiency Type: Personal Firearms
