Representing the first scopes widely available, this is a basic sighting device that makes it easier to hit targets at long range. The scope magnifies the image of the target, but it has a very limited field of vision, making it quite difficult to use.

A standard scope increases the range increment of the weapon by 50% (multiply by 1.5). To use the scope, you must spend an attack action acquiring the target. If you change targets or lose sight of the target, you must reacquire the target in order to gain the benefits of the scope. The electro-optical scope functions like a normal scope, but also allows the user to sight targets as though she had darkvision.
